INSTALLATION/ UN-INSTALLATION
Important note:
- Installation should be carried out in a clean and non-dusty environment to prevent dirt/ dust/ foreign objects from getting into your camera.
- Please wash and dry your hands before installing.
Installation
1. Check that the camera is off and remove any lens/body cap.
2. Remove the cover from the screwdriver.
3. Unscrew the 5 screws on mount ring in the order of 1 to 5 as shown (recommended).
- Installation should be carried out in a clean and non-dusty environment to prevent dirt/ dust/ foreign objects from getting into your camera.
- Please wash and dry your hands before installing.
Installation
1. Check that the camera is off and remove any lens/body cap.
2. Remove the cover from the screwdriver.
3. Unscrew the 5 screws on mount ring in the order of 1 to 5 as shown (recommended).
4. Remove only the original mount ring by slowly separating it from the camera body. All pins and other parts should stay on the camera.
5. Remove the new mount ring from the re-sealable bag and put the original mount ring inside for keeping and seal tight.
6. Take the new mount ring and place on the exposed camera mount area, aligning to the electrical contact pins, ejection pin, AF coupler and screw holes.
7. Ensure the new mount ring seats in the correct position and is securely placed.
8. Screw back the 5 screws in the same order as described in Step 3. Installation is complete.
Un-installation
9. Repeat Steps 3 to 8 but with the original mount ring from the re-sealable bag
5. Remove the new mount ring from the re-sealable bag and put the original mount ring inside for keeping and seal tight.
6. Take the new mount ring and place on the exposed camera mount area, aligning to the electrical contact pins, ejection pin, AF coupler and screw holes.
7. Ensure the new mount ring seats in the correct position and is securely placed.
8. Screw back the 5 screws in the same order as described in Step 3. Installation is complete.
Un-installation
9. Repeat Steps 3 to 8 but with the original mount ring from the re-sealable bag
