Using PK+MM on Pentax film SLRs.
PK+MM is designed based on the current Pentax KAF2 mount found in the Pentax Digital SLR lineup.
PK+MM can also be installed on Pentax autofocus film SLRs but there are limitations depending on the different mount type as described below.
Note: Actual usage is dependent on camera bodies and has not been tested.

2. Missing non-conductive plastic part around electrical contacts to prevent shorting with mounting ring.

It is not recommended to install PK+MM on non-autofocus SLR due to the following reasons:

1. KA2 mount: Exposed AF coupler hole. (SLR: MZ-M)
2. KA mount: Exposed 1 electrical contact hole and AF coupler hole. (SLRs: P30T, P3N / P30N, P5 / P50, P3 / P30, A3 / A3000, Program A / Program Plus Super A / Super Program )
3. KF mount: Not possible to be installed due to different position of electrical contacts. (SLR: ME F)
4. K mount: Not possible to be installed due to different position of screw locations (SLRs: LX, MG, MV1, MV1, ME Super, ME, MX, K1000, K2, KX, KM) (Updated on 10th Oct 2014)
5. Other companies K mount SLRs: Mounting ring design may be different.
